It started off promising, but later it was rather an overstatement, in a way. There's this sort of cliché -if not stigma- that hometown could only become restriction and the freedom one seek is only can be found in big city (or as the saying "to chase the new york dream"). It feels like a movie created by the eye of western mindset.
Story wise this could work better as a series, as to dig deeper into each character and understand more about their motives, also to work on the romance (if there's even a necessary to include it). The actors & actresses delivered their characters well (i have no doubt in their talent) but seems like we only see the surface of their personality. Honestly if they're given chance to share more of their characters this could be a richer and more solid story.
