My first time reading a Malcolm Gladwell book. I picked it up from a bookstore next door because of the interesting title. I have mixed feelings about this book. I found the subjects really interesting which led me to countless hours researching Google for more details but i find his thought process a bit narrow, pinpointing particular facts but neglecting other crucial factors. This made me second guess my own interpretation and personal beliefs. If that was part of his plan, then it worked perfectly well. The last chapter seemed like a cliffhanger and now I feel like I’m waiting for another season of a series that was cancelled. Probably part of my disappointment is the same reason I bought the book. I was hoping for enlightenment in dealing with strangers nut didn’t get much out of it. Though I must say that the book pointed our certain studies and concepts that I resonated with. It was just not enough reason for me to give it a five star.
