This is undoubtedly one of the better movies that I’ve ever seen, period. The acting is phenomenal, and so real. The tragedies that stack on top of one another just keep escalating to levels you wouldn’t have expected going into the movie. The iron claw might appear to just be a wrestling movie, but it’s truly more about family and the care for (or lack of in some examples) the people around you. The ending was also done really well, despite seeming like it could be lackluster. But it wasn’t. It was amazing. The movie is also beautifully shot, as expected from an A24 film. It’ll move you and leave you thinking about how you should care about the people around you in real life, and leave you in wonder

This movie that took SOOOO long to make was overhyped. But it was still interesting to say the least. It wasn’t anything amazing, and only fans of the game that know a decent amount will enjoy it. With that being said, the movie doesn’t suck like a lot of people claim. Overall, it just felt more like a movie with FNAF (five nights at Freddy’s) in it, than a FNAF movie in itself. I give it a 7/10, as it had a good plot twist towards the end. It isn’t really all that scary, but the effects are pretty good, and animatronics are legit, and the sound design is spectacular. I only recommend seeing it if you are a FNAF fan. The storyline is very easy to follow, and the whole dreams concept does have some cool connections with the real world. Some of the jokes landed, some of them absolutely did not. The characters personalities are paper thin, but that’s not really what it’s all about. Note: the PG-13 rating doesn’t take everything away from it! It just makes the visual effects artists work more creatively!

Can I just say that I think any other version of characters in this exact setting would make a show like this a bit… boring or cringy? I just think the cast selection is perfect. The characters are great. Succession on the surface seems like a mid-tier ‘black comedy’, loaded with satire. But as you get to later episodes they just start to become more unique and dramatic. It’s crazy how this show evolves. Just watch it.

Pretty good compared to other psychological thrillers of the same type. Of course it’ll always feel a bit weird the way they can edit these movies, but it’s doesn’t ruin the movie experience. All these movies end in a twist ending, and this one was GREAT. I haven’t really seen anything like it before, even if it was rather predictable, and more of just a frightening confirmation.

At first what seems like just another family guy or South Park like show turns into a much deeper, grim, and emotional cartoon. Bojack Horseman, somehow, manages to be more real and realistic than 90% of other shows that try to depict depression. The show is full of hilarious comedy, but more importantly emotional themes with twists and turns that will keep you on the edge of your seat. Some episodes are a work of art, like ‘fish out of water’, or ‘free churro’, and that doesn’t even include every penultimate episode of each season. Each of those are mind blowing in their own ways. Stop what you are doing right now and go watch this show. You may not like it at first but just finish the first season and you should be hooked.

It’s just such a fun time to watch! It may not be the most in depth complex movie ever with the best acting or anything, but production quality, combined with solid twists and turns makes for a solid sequel. I don’t think it’s as good or anything like the first movie at all. Expect a completely different feel than the original.

It would be five stars… if I couldn’t stop comparing this movie to 47 meters down. I understand it’s the same producer, so it was obviously going to have a very similar pattern and vibe. Nonetheless it was a great movie and I was kept on edge for almost the entire time despite the minimal cast and story. Stop reading here if you do not want spoilers!!!! This movie actually I enjoyed more than 47 meters down. It did everything that movie does, but with just a bit more depth to the story, a better message, and a better ending. The dad reuniting with Becks was a great moment, while 47 meters just ended with her going to the surface. That was it. The ONLY reason I can’t give this movie a 5/5 is because the one MAJOR shocking plot twist was VERY predictable. If you haven’t watched 47 meters, then it will shock you and be incredibly unique. But because I saw that movie first… I knew that the other friend had died way earlier and it was all the main characters hallucination. Overall, a solid survival thriller. Had some unique methods of what their tasks were to figure out a way to get a message out, and overall a major improvement over 47 meters.

So I’m just gonna write a new review for this show. For a couple years I had one out that had good points, but I can’t say I agree with all of it anymore… This show is excellent. It’s so unique, despite all of the inspiration that the Duffer Brothers worked with to make it. It combines horror, sci-fi, drama, and comedy at times to make an excellent thriller show. It contains less of the “sci-fi” feel as some other movies and tv shows, but it maintains the overall retro sci-fi feel. The 80s setting is so well done it makes you want to be in the 80s right now. They did an excellent job of doing this so that even adults who wouldn’t normally watch are even more interested than most other ages. (After watching S4 Vol. 1): So far, season 4 has proved to be the most ambitious, but best season yet. It’s much scarier, funnier, and all around bigger and better than seasons 1-3, which is hard to say, as every season is incredible.

Severance is a show that makes you question what it could really be like to divide your work life and personal life- but this show not only creates curiosity and mystery, but is filled with amazing directing, sets, and storytelling pace. A lot may think it’s slow, but it’s just setting the vibe. I enjoyed every minute of this show. It’s very well done and cannot wait for season two. And yeah, they really did us dirty with that abrupt cliffhanger 😂
