Here it is in a nutshell: **No Spoilers** I realize not everyone will like this movie, but I did. Is it good? Yes Is it great? No, not compared to the original Is it fun to watch? Yes Is it worth watching once? Yes Is it worth watching more than once? No Should they make another Matrix film after this one? No I loved the original Matrix. It is truly one of my favorite movies, definitely in my top 20. I saw it multiple times, analyzed it, talked it over with friends. I got a lot of meaning out of it. I was disappointed in the two sequels, Reloaded and Revolutions. I thought they actually cheapened the original, and it irritated me. This movie does not need to be analyzed. It is both an original story and an homage to the Trilogy; and, to my surprise, it reframes Reloaded and Revolutions, and elevates them in the process. Nothing will surpass the original Matrix, and I did not expect this movie to do so. I had low expectations because of Reloaded and Revolutions, and I was pleasantly surprised.
