I loved this so much. Very real, very immersive and it got me so invested in the characters and their stories. Their imperfect personalities showed perfectly because of the amazing writing and acting of the wonderful people who worked on this art. Absolutely perfect in every way, even when it didn’t go how it was supposed to. I thought it was so realistic how not everyone survived and how he was late because of that and other factors. I thought it was heartbreaking the moment when one minor character asked the main character “why did they send you alone” and then he said “they didn’t.” That was a perfect moment to me. I almost cried at that line because it was so sad and you could see the emotion behind his stoic facade. Anyway, see 1917 or perish. Not for everyone due to gore and many dead bodies (realistic as hell)
