I can’t remember the last time I had so much fun at a movie! Actually, It was probably Deadpool 2! I was hooked from the opening shot of Zombieland Double tap. The characters were still lovable misfit, post-apocalypse ninja bada$$ Zombie killers, but their Family bonds and character traits were so much richer and more developed after a 10 year hiatus. The new characters were all surprisingly interesting and added to the to the epic zombie hobbitesque adventure. The movie paid tons of homage, respect, and love to the OG Zombie Masters, and then added their own awesome-sauce in top. The zombie battles are choreographed perfectly, and the comedy came in many layers of tongue-in-cheek innuendos that were brilliant and so much fun! I wish I could own this movie now and watch it again tonight!
