Lots of action, suspense, nods to the HP canon, cool cliffhangers, well acted, great graphics, thoughtful, surprises... A really good movie. Will definitely see it again. Reading the early reviews, it appears that people know there's no book and are surprised the movie is not like the book that doesn't exist. I loved the HP books and get their appeal-coming of age/human interest story... but growing up a huge comic book fan I was always bothered by the lack of action. And to me, this is why FB2 is better than the HP movies... action. But an action that doesn't sacrifice quality. Can't wait for the next movie.
