Slow paced, deliberate ... as much about man's relationship with nature as it is with the discovery of the New World and Jamestown. Loved the portrayal of the Indians as a people connected to the fauna of the area and living as one with their environment.
Slow paced .. but surprisingly watchable, and ravishingly beautiful.
Not his best , but solid solid Mallick.
