Surprisingly bad movie. Idiocracy is a oscar worthy movie compared with DLU, there is not engaging plot, too much and over the top political commentary and there is not clear message at all. The commedy lacks of subtetly or any wit (the snack joke is barely better than meh and is the only remarkable joke).

I saw the movie because I don't like this cancel culture thing and wanted to know how fair is the criticism. Leaving aside all the autism representation controversy Music is not a good movie. The characters are bad written and have inscrutable motivations, when the movie ends as an spectator you have many questions about why the characters behave as they do: why Ebo helps Music, why Zu changes his mind after be so close to leave Music in an institution, why that gay drug dealer is so fond of Zu (that is mindblowing and trully unrealistic).
