This phenomenal rendition of A Christmas Carol is in my opinion a perfect portrayal of the classic by Dickens. The acting was superb! Hollywood could not have caste a better actor to be Scrooge than George C. Scott. This seasoned actor captured the miserly Scrooge's greed by his facial expressions alone! A most convincing portrayal! Scrooge's conversion experience came to life in Scott's expression of desperation. His celebration of the intervention of Jacob Marley's ghost brought the story to a great climax. A must see for this Christmas!
