Ant-Man and the Wasp: Quantumania is a decent start to the Phase 5 of the MCU. It's not as bad as the reviewers are making it to be. The Good - It's short and fast-paced. You don't get bored as such. Very relevant because Black Panther: Wakanda Forever felt like an eternity. It's got the classic Marvel humour interspersed better and not doing for the sake of it like Thor: Love & Thunder. There are 2 post-credit scenes. The 2nd one is really cool! They've managed to explain the whole concept of the universe, parallel dimensions, alternate realities pretty well so even a new watcher can understand. It's also consistent with earlier movies. They also set up Kang pretty well, it's an important movie that way. The Bad- Very cookie cutter movie. It's the same theme of dialogues and sets. Nothing new or innovative as such. Pretty clichéd that way. CGI was fairly ordinary as well OVR, 7/10

The Mule truly is Clint Eastwood in all his glory. It's a slow burn, so don't expect any gripping action or anything. But what you can expect is a very well narrated movie that develops at a steady pace along with great cinematography. In a very binary point of view, it's a very plain movie and you've probably seen it all. But delving deeper, and there's so much to unearth. From various long lasting rifts with family, to facing moral dilemmas in life or death situations, The Mule had my attention all along. It's a great balance of intense, emotion, drama and comedic moments. And even though the movie is ultimately predictable and unsurprising, it's still a very enjoyable watch. It's like a white shirt. Very plain, but still very refreshing to look at.

A great, casual watch! Enola Holmes is a really nice and easy watch. Perfect to watch with the fam. It does a great job of keeping you hooked and you don't realise 2 hours pass by at all! The cast of this movie was amazing and everyone did a stellar job. Special mention to protagonist, Millie Bobby Brown who absolutely smashed. Her delightful interactions with the audience by breaking the fourth wall was great to see akd after a certain point, you end up looking forward to them. This movie also saw a refreshing interpretation on the character of Sherlock. Most visual adaptations show Sherlock to be moody, brood and heartless with an air of eccentricity. However, here they show Sherlock to be much more warm and caring. It was definitely nice to see this change of pysche. The whole movie didn't change much from the source material, although from a general point of view, the movie would be better if the plot had more suspense to it. That lacked a bit, in my opinion. Apart from that, the cinematography is great coupled with great background music! Definitely worth watching!

Religion can really be the actual devil The Devil All The Time is a slow burn, gritty and psychologically diabolical movie. While it does take its time to set the pace of the film, the payoff at the end is beautiful and worth it. The movie consisted of 3 different person's stories that tied up really well in the end and in a way you won't see coming. For a majority of the time, you won't really understand what the movie is about. But as time passes, you realize that this world is rife with deception of faith. It makes you question and judge the very foundation of religion. The very heartless alteration of faith that is vastly abundant in this troubled Midwest belt of the '60s coupled with some terrifying acts. It definitely is one of the better movies released by Netflix this year. This may not be for everyone as many might not be able to handle the slow pace, but man is it worth the watch.

If you liked The Big Short, you'll absolutely love this one. It's on the same Wall Street (pre-2008 recession) without the humour. Right from the very offing, you realise you're in for a surreal ride just by how gripping the movie is. You never, for a second, want to take your eye off this one. Once it has been brought to the attention of the Executive Committee that the company is about to enter deep waters, things get real, real quick and real fast. With no regard for ethics and morals, the company needs to decide how to stay afloat and do not give a second thought to the consequences of the employees or how badly it will affect the stock market. The sheer audacity while making this decision is something that will blow your mind. The class and panache these higher order white collar executives show is something that has been portayed beautifully. This ruthlessness is something that is definitely required in order to succeed in such toxic corporate backgrounds. The cast is ensemble and have done a fantastic job. Really is a brilliant movie that has plenty of re-watch value.

A very cool, slick movie with a lot of class Ocean's Eleven. It's become the benchmark for heist movies. It's been inspired by several classics and has also been an inspiration for so many others. The funny thing about Ocean's Eleven is there's nothing truly outstanding about any one aspect of the movie; nothing that will blow you away. However, everything is put together perfectly. The cast oozes class. From Andy García being immaculately dressed in a perfectly fit suit to the sheer rawness of the rag-tag squad, it all blends in beautifully. The sheer audacity of the objective of the movie is absolutely bonkers and the way they go about it is nothing short of mind blowing. Impeccable planning right to the very second as well as quick improvisation should there be a surprise encounter, this movie is of a gold standard. So much so that, it's always going to be a fun rewatch irrespective of the number of times its been watched before.

Palm Springs is a fresh take on an established concept. Inspired from Groundhog Day, it's one of those infinite time-loop situations you would've heard about. A very fun movie that's perfect when you want to unwind and just chill. Grab your snacks and enjoy this movie!

“Life moves pretty fast, if you don’t stop and look around once in a while, you could miss it.” Such an obvious quote. But how many of us actually take the time to take stock of things and just pause? This movie is an absolute classic and has become my favourite comedy movie. It has so many laugh-out-loud moments and everything about this movie is amazing! From the impeccable planning from Ferris to Cameron letting things go and standing up for himself, it really is a wonderful watch. Definitely a must-watch.

A show that is so confusing and so convoluted throughout has an astonishingly clear end in the Finale. It feels right even though it may be a cliche. It really is a brilliant show!

The most consistent theme of Uncut Gems is the sheer chaos that ensues throughout. It's loud, noisy and annoying a lot of times. It's a convoluted mix of anxiety as his life is filled with moments where he is one step away from total incineration, financially. So chaotic, so frantic, so uncertain. Yet, at the moment he was shot dead, there was a moment of absolute certainty. The scene sent a shiver down my spine as it was something I never saw coming. The movie definitely keeps you engaged with Sandler's stellar performance, intense high-action cinematography and unpredictability.
