I am not normally one for supernatural TV shows or movies, but because of the cast, more specifically Jurnee Smollett I decided to give this show a chance. I am soooooo glad I did! Lovecraft Country is like nothing I have ever seen before. The suspense and the shroud of mystery that surrounds each episode keeps me on the edge of my seat! The acting is phenomenal and the fact that the setting of the show takes place in the 1950s but many of the real life issues are ones that are still being felt today makes me come back each week for more. Misha Green had really outdone herself with this one! I wait each week for HBO to announce its renewal for Seaon 2. I will definitely be tuned in!
