As a newcomer to the series, I was emerged from the beginning. Geralt was everything that makes a stoic character lovable. Quiet, alert and immensely protective. At the end of the very first episode you are left wanting to know more about this mysterious character. In fact, each character is absolutely brilliant. You know Yennefer's character was important from the moment you see her in the pigsty. With her heartfelt emotions, Anya was able to portray her perfectly, from a scared little girl to the most powerful mage. Ciri is absolutely incredible, and although she is a royalty, her character is one who is almost relatable, making mistakes, being blamed for anything she does, trying over and over to impress people around her and failing to but becoming stronger every time. She has potential to either become extremely good or bad that makes us question it every time.
Although the timelines were not in sync, there was no obstruction in the flow of the story as they were told separately and progressed in one direction. It was also easier to follow through once you realized how they cleverly entwined the stories with side characters such as Queen Calanthe and Foltest. Although there were several events to tackle, it was executed so smoothly that the series did not feel too slow nor too rushed. And lastly, the graphics was amazing but the sceneries were unforgettable including Brokilon Forest, Sodden and Temple of Melitele. Overall, the series has been incredibly brought to life by the film studio. Huge respect to every artist involved in bringing the audience this absolute masterpiece.
