You know a movie is great when you watch it over and over again. That was Guardians for me. It has the perfect balance of action, comedy, and drama. You care about the characters, and you despise the villain. The acting is superb, script is great, and special effects are amazing. For me, this was about as close to perfect as an action movie can be.

Overall, I found the story very entertaining, but there were moments I was verbally cursing the weak character transitions or patently stupid behavior. A strong wicked character and I thought the acting was good overall. I find the idea behind the show wonderful and fun, but some of the characters could be written so much better. Behavior seems arbitrary at times and the character building can lag. Still, it will be a show I will watch next season. However, I do hope the character writing gets better.
