Though very low scope for any director to make a historic film that too with aged hero is a challenge. But Surender Reddy done a fantastic job by treating simple story line with commercial and cinematic way which is easily emotionally connected to normal Audience. Chiru proved Age is just a number. RC is a daring producer. All three heroins best in their roles. Big B is perfect in GURU role. Vijay sethupathi, Sudeep , and Jagapathibabu are very neat in their roles. And finally a film based on history is not easy to any director to handle. But for director its 5/5 and for movie: 3.5/5
