My friend and I caught an early screening of Rust Creek at Soho House in Chicago. We may have screamed through the whole thing - but this is truly an outstanding indie film. Hermione Corfield is amazing in this - she has a big career ahead of her. Jay Paulson's performance is also very, very good. The movie is a thriller- but it is also incredibly inspiring, and it's wonderful testament to the strength of a woman. My friend and I left deciding to get self defense classes. A great movie for young women to see!

This is a feel good film. The music is sensational, and the performances are wonderful. Highly recommend!

Is this the greatest movie ever made? No, it isn't. But this movie wasn't made to win an Oscar- it was made to make people laugh, at which it succeeds wonderfully.

My husband jokes that this is my favorite film- because I couldn't stop talking about it for 3 weeks (I also kept having nightmares!). It terrified me- I never want to watch it again. However, I can't deny that it is absolutely STUNNING. This film is truly a work of art. If you hate the plot, you should watch it for it's beauty alone. The cinematography and artistic direction are truly next level. The script is also extremely creative and exciting to watch. I highly recommend this movie- but not if you are easily frightened!

Top 5 movies of 2018, if not the best movie of 2018. HIGHLY recommend- you are missing out if you don't see this film. It's a masterpiece comprised of amazing music, phenomenal acting, wonderful directing, and a beautiful, heartbreaking script.
