Totally worth it. Have you ever seen Jet Li become the "damsel in distressed", saved by a damsel? 🤣🤣 Its a cool movie as it revise some of the classic moments, added some new elements and emphasized on it: The Chinese cultural values of loyal, brave, true and devotion to family. Some may say, they wasted Donnie Yen and Jet Li, the two kung-fu masters. Too little fight scenes for them. But hey, this is the Mulan movie, the star IS Mulan, what do you expect? Gong-Li is cool, evil because of loneliness, became good because of seeing the values of the good? Kinda touched because you get to see kung-fu masters and international stars don't mind helping young sprouts grow and shine. ✊ There are a lot more in the characters that can be portrayed, the growth, struggle, family love... Poor Shang's scene are mostly shared with Donnie 😄. Yao, Po and cricket, well they are randoms in the original classic, so..... Mushu became phoenix... Saluting Crystal's professionalism as most of the action scenes are done by herself, cool fighting skills. As audience, it brings back memories, nice to watch with family.😁
