Spoiler free review. I felt that the movie had an average storyline, undeveloped characters, saved by the grade A visuals and what I would consider a very faithful artistic depiction of Tokyo.
Storyline did not live up to Your Name (not that there should be an expectation to, but it's the same studio so hear me out); ideas from the first half of the movie that were really intriguing were not built upon. I say this especially with regards to the motivations of the characters (especially the main dude), with the exception of Kei.
Short word on the humour, I felt that the jokes mostly fell flat. Don't really get the running gag of the protagonist's fixation on women's body parts.
Disappointing overall. Soundtrack was pretty meh too. 6/10.
