The cinematography and acting in this movie was excellent. But, I think a tremendous mistake was made by the producers by not including subtitles in any of the scenes where the Apaches were speaking to eachother in their native language. There were so many important scenes, including the last scene in the movie, where I wanted to know what these proud and heroric Native Americans we saying to eachother. I am at a loss as to why subtitles were not included. In my view, this was a major error. re saying.

Excruciatingly slow. Undeveloped relationships within the family and peripheral characters. Lots of opportunities to work more with the animals were missed. Extremely dark lighting throughout movie made it visually difficult to discern what was happening in many scenes. Some nice lightly and camera work in some scenes. Have no idea why this movie has been rated higher by other reviewers.
