I was looking for something different to read while at The Fortress of Solitude comic book store when I stumbled across this series. I liked the concept of Harriet having super powers and the story is decent except for one main element. The dad in the story is a punk. You can see the build up when everybody knew how to ride a horse except him and he was scared. When he fainted in issue #2 I was done. I am tired of the strong woman at the expense of the men paradigm. Strong female characters are cool but the weak or stupid men is wack. Just write a good story and leave all of the bs out.
