Watching this film on 9/11 2021 was somehow more gripping, more horrifying, more poignant, more exquisite than when I saw it in 2002 (or 2003). Being inside the firehouse, on the trucks, in the lobby of the first tower before it fell, on the streets…all of it, via this extraordinary documentary, makes me wish I could hug and thank and hug again, every firefighter who was there.
