Perhaps the most intense action movie of the year, with a body count to match. The whole second half is a non-stop adrenaline rush.

The story, despite being simple and straightforward, is superior to the last few installments of this franchise. The character development is decent for an action-based film. It’s very grounded and visceral. And yet, it doesn’t forget that it is an installment in the Predator universe. Not only is there a respectable kill count and creative ways to cause death, advances in CGI have made it so far the bloodiest (in a good way) Predator movie. I would suggest it to both old and new fans.

It’s really faithful to the source material while giving it’s own fresh take on the franchise. The fight scenes are mind-blowing and epic! And the creators spared no effort to depict realistic bloodshed and fatalities.
