Let's be honest Ruby is cool, her Character is cool but the entire movie is abit weak. Lots of scenes showed Ruby's inexperience, although the action sequences are slick. I kept noticing details that showed me that the Director was focused on a visual outcome, all be it at the expense of the scene details. For instance why did the fan have an enormous spike on the front of it (so Boris could be impaled that's why) & how is he perfectly splad out across the fan blades. He should have been flopping about as it spun. Unfortunately for me an accumulation of lazy editing, missed opportunities to finesse performances & a fairly basic plot left me looking forward to seeing Ruby's next efforts.
