I had much higher expectation from this movie. The story was rather flat, slow and super predictable. Too many songs disrupt the narrative flow. Nawazuddin has always delivered awesome performances, but this storyline didn't provide much scope for his acting prowess to come to life, except for a few emotion-fuelled crying scenes and exceptional quality makeup artistry! Could have been a much better film if the plot was focused more on highlighting actual transgender issues, and less on petty political revenge and crimes.

The hype over the film majorly outshined the ACTUAL CONTENT of the movie! Barbie is a well crafted, woke, intellectual take on a plethora of contemporary societal issues, but it fails to entertain - unlike what the trailer portrays. Margot Robbie & Ryan Gosling both did justice to their roles, but the movie fails to engage on a deeper level.

Everything else about the show is absolutely fantastic, apart from one thing. The character Mal - the actor Archie something, who played it- is a complete injustice to the actual character in the book. Archie is WAY TOO UGLY to play the role, it was an eyesore to endure his pathetic screen presence throughout the series. At least get a semi-decent looking actor for an important role like Mal's in the next series.

Cliché story, poor direction, terrible acting - a total waste of 100 mins!

Absolutely fantastic movie! Hilarious comedy and great performance by the cast - especially Tabu snd Kartik Aryan. It’s refreshing to get to watch a genuine storyline directed with so much finesse!

The film does not match up to its trailer, which looks WAY MORE interesting than the film itself. The visuals are good, but the narration is too slow to keep your mind engaged.

It's the first film I saw where Mccarthy played a role that's not overtly comic. Her acting is absolutely beautiful! She definitely proved that she can pull off just about any kind of role with the perfect finesse!
