Nova Grant

This movie had me intrigued from start to finish, though it follows a basic love story. The main idea behind it is really refreshing and seems fairly original. The one problem I had with this movie is the predictability. Though this will forever be on my favorite movies list, the predictability aspect is always there, as it is in most romcoms. I'd say having 3 different love interests really made this a lot of fun to watch and you get to guess along with the daughter, making it have that sense of mystery. I think Ryan Reynolds and Abigail Breslin have great on screen father/daughter chemistry, and I wish there was more of it in the movie. I'd say this movie is definitely worth watching, but it definitely wouldn't be ranked as one of the best romcoms of all time. So don't get yourself to excited, but prepare yourself for a fun and light hearted film.
