A fabulous story. I don't believe there is anyone on earth who cannot identify, a little or a lot, with Nora, the book's main character. It's human nature to worry, regret and wonder what would have happened if only we had done something differently.
This 30 something girl blames herself for her own unhappiness and that of all those around her. Having decided to leave her life she lands in the midnight library. Given the chance to choose any possible life she could live, Nora's many new experiences show her that perception is everything as she gains a deeper understanding of her family and herself.
A hopeful and fascinating read that will remain with me always.
Thank you Matt Haig.
