A truly sad and melancholy story that haunted me for a couple days, mainly due to the heartbreaking demise of these two lead characters. However, this was an interesting and engaging type of horror film that is possibly trying to convey powerful message's about disturbing hidden cults that society isn't familiar with. Or it could be about the unexpecting suffrage that an innocent individual like Anna can witness, caused by the consequences of just trying to help a mentally damaged and unstable person like Lucy. The violence is gruesome and horrific to even look at. Especially that last scene, which is what made this film stand out as one of the most disturbing to begin with. I believe this has a lot to offer for anybody who loves exploring intense horror films. With that being said, I think Martyrs is a psychologically profound piece of art. But do I think it is an enjoyable horror film? Nope. Would I recommend to the average, light-hearted horror fanatic? Definitely not. my rating 9/10

This was an enjoyable film. The cooking scenes are entertaining and the food looks very appetizing. A pretty decent story about a father accepting his daughters grow up and move on in life, although I don’t think it’s as profound in terms of dramatic storytelling that I would’ve liked it to be, also don’t think it was as comedic, but the performances are fun and they work. Another side note, this isn’t nor does it feel like a traditional Mexican family at all. The Spanish sounded fake and this is coming from someone who is from Mexico and understands how Mexican families behave. It’s pretty obvious these were all American actors, except for Paul Rodriguez of course. But that’s not a main issue for me. I would recommend this film for any family to enjoy on a Sunday evening. 6/10

The movie is horrible. But i do have a positive note. I believe James Nguyen has talent. I know everybody disagrees. But i really like how he uses his Alfred Hitchcock style. The dialogue and acting of Birdemic is nothing compared to Alfred Hitchcock movies, but the story is not that bad, and it gave me Alfred Hitchcock vibes. I just think he needs to realize the art of filmmaking and learn actual filmmaking, i think he just dosent realize how a film is supposed to be made. I give him props for actually going out and make a movie. There for i give two stars.
