This movie was touching and it was real. Despite the teens lack of maturity and ability to make good decisions their innocence was well was pronounced. For me this movie touched on race in a discreet manner, from a mixed kid, to Black, Latin and White. The film was honest, and you celebrate the smallest of victories these kids accomplished because in their eyes it was monumental and I felt it with them. This film captured the lens of teens because it’s hard to see the whole picture at that age. I loved it. It was authentic and touching.
