Salad Hands

World class production, really felt the emotion and energy in episode 1 when the first battle commenced.

I knew this film was going to be special from the cinematography of the opening scene. Storyline and acting equally as impressive, so many twists and turns on both the storyline and character developments as you go along.

I decided to watch as it had 4 stars out of 5 on sky, but the film didn't live up to that expectation. Plot didn't really make much sense, there is somehow a dichotomy of predictability and unpredictability going on throughout, some scenes are very illogical and don't really connect to the storyline at all. The ending is literally non existent too, which has cost this film a star, two stars seemed fair as there are some good horror CGI at times.

Good film, dragged a little in places. Worth a watch.

If you wanna spend 90 mins watching people do sign language to each other, then at random moments choose to talk and yell sporadically, then watch this. Turned it off after 45 mins. Also the dad actor looks annoylingly like Jeff Bezos.

Boring and the found footage camera angle made me feel like I was sea sick. Yawn.

Not as good as Wickerman, they tried to copy the movie as much as possible but this is not as good, nowhere near.

I totally got the metaphorical concept at the end, but apart from the last scene, this movie is just one cryptic scene after another, with only 2 characters and very little dialogue. I wanted to give up after 1 hour, but watched to the end after the time I had already invested. Would have been 1 star, but it's been given 2 stars due to the concept of the film, even though it's delivery was very, very laboured.

Great film, such a predictable narrative but with so many unexpected twists.

The twist at the start is excellent, and so unexpected which hooks the audience. The protagonist is portrayed as some cold and calculated serial killer, but for sake of the story, she goes onto make serious amateur mistakes that make the whole thing seem unrealistic. One error fair enough, but it is just a catalogue of stupidity after her character has been developed with serious merit. Secondly, the victim makes catastrophic errors too which plays an integral part in propelling the ramboesque fighting to continue longer than necessary, I'm assuming in the hope it is perceived as suspense. Consequently, some scenes are very predictable.To conclude, with the initial plot, this movie had a lot of potential to be an all time great like Calibre, or the invitation. But the producer treats the audience like a child at times and its frustrating. It's 3 stars due the initial twist, and some great acting by the protagonist.
