I would actually rate this show higher however I find Nola’s lovers to be pretty irritating. Greer and Mars’ personalities are over the top, and just out of place considering the artistic styling of the show. Brooklyn’s art culture is the foundation of this show, which makes it all the more confusing to add in really clueless characters. There are also a couple scenes I fast forwarded through because they were unnecessary (Mars’ vocalizing in the bathroom). Actually, I fast forward through most of Mars’ scenes in the show. I love a character that adds in some comedic effect.... but these dudes ain’t it.
