I think I'd enjoyed watching the episodes just because I was in the mood to. I'm not much on watching modern series because they lack substance.
Similarly, this story could've been told in one episode.
I enjoyed seeing sissy spacek. And Colin was my favorite character just because he was hilarious.
It is unfortunate that the director had to lean so heavily on the background music to queue the audience's emotions. It was overly obvious.
The visuals & tones were very well done, however. It put me in an Art Noir mindset.
I think in comparison to other series, it was above average. But again, the bar is set pretty low already for cinema in the modern era.
