A Refreshing Treat of a movie; a lovely story about leaving Ireland to emigrate to USA for a better future although it's not an easy transition. Characters are fully revealed through real problems of culture & affection with interesting conflicts to resolve but without any sign of bizarre or perverse plot twists.

Amusing & often brilliant. Hugh Grant is Grrrr reat! btw, my family was a "test group" for this product, which we gave mixed reviews & I personally at 10 years old disliked with a "yugga."

Did you think Sex, Lies & Videotapes" was the most interesting film in years many years ago? Its that same very clever director Soderburgh here again, now illustrating the obfuscating processes by which the GREEDY ONES among us launder money worldwide. Don't let low scores from rotten tomatoes & metacritic steer you away from this movie, it's NOT fiction; it's a LEARNING EXPERIENCE.

This is a wonderfully amusing Rom-Com in every way. Garbo shows her tremendous and magnetic skills dramatically, romantically & comically while Douglas's playboy is witty and disarmingly charming. The trio of Russian apparatchiks are delightful supporting characters. The plot and dialogue is perfection. I can't think of another Rom-Com that matches this film's wit & elegance. It is director Lubitch's Masterpiece and when it is over I can only wish there were more movies this GREAT.

Fascinating, excellent and unusual in every way. If you're looking for a crime story that provides something different, try this one.

WoW. Excellent film of probably the "most consequential SCOTUS Ruling of the 20th Century." Film provides impressive and emotional details. A MUST SEE! Because it's a TRULY REMARKABLE HISTORICAL film, not only because of its pertinence to understanding US's Civil Rights but also as an essential example of how SCOTUS should work for this nation, while USA waits for current SCOTUS to get off the dime and Rule on Trump's "Absolute Immunity" claim.[this review written May, 2024]

Unusual Fairy tale & NOT for little kids, as it has really bad villains & a horrific monster at end. But all other children & grownups who love the classic stories may find fun delight in this well-made movie with terrific cast!

Extremely interesting, effective character, well produced & WAY ahead of its 2017 TV time! First couple episodes a little shaky but that's because they're setting stage for an unusual episodic adventure. & Perfect for binging!

Anna Magnani is magnificent in this delightful baroque farce fashioned "in the Italianate style" accompanied by Vivaldi's music. Not quaint at all, very modern feel though set in the Spanish colony of Chile. Sumptuous production in gorgeous Technicolor.

If you stick with a fairly slow set-up episode & get hooked on the authorities' suspicion of 6 main characters, you'll get rewarded with intense final 2 extremely suspenseful episodes. I also found it fascinating to learn about Australian points of view concerning itself, US & China.
