It is, no doubt, a good show that hooks you but the ending was fairly disappointing for me. Maybe I am used to series which ultimate all links in the end but this one just had so many sub-plots which didnt do each other justice. I was hoping that the fake pregnancy would be first domino to topple and maybe it would lead to some cultic practices or darker organized crime but it was just a series of several unrelated stories stitched together until the dead body was found. And who in their right mind kills someone then tells the grieving husband to 'get over it' 'what's done is done', et al?
It's like the producers were scrambling for a satisfactory ending and Tripp was the best scapegoat. Also, then the story doesn't exactly revolve around the stranger anymore! And Katz found his daughter has been poisoned but no justice could be served so what was the point of revealing that plot.? The ending left me with more questions than answers
