I had high hopes for this show. The first episode was darker than I expected but my 10 year old daughter and I still enjoyed it and we continued watching. By the 3rd episode it was touching on subjects not appropriate for young children. Anne’s imagination was not lighthearted but almost delusional and a way to hide from the darkness in her life which is not what Anne was like and also not what we wanted to watch. We quit watching and I’m looking for the much more enjoyable and more realistic 1980s version.
