It was a bit quick to get to the main story. It gave a fast backstory for why what's going on is going on and didn't delve into ruby's personality too much. It was a very typical dystopian story and felt like a really bad semen movie with a good cast, just extremely mediocre scripting. The ending made no sense to me and clearly, we're not getting a sequel so it will just be a really confusing, forgettable single film.
