A layered, insightful show detailing the high school life of an Indian American teenager, featuring a culturally diverse, and insanely talented cast. Does make use of a few clichés of high school movies: unpopular and uncool leads, brooding teenager heartthrob, etc. But that's pretty much where the tropes end, and we are launched into a touching, bittersweet take on the confusing, bewildering, painful and often lonely lives of adolescents. Love, the conversations stirred up on parent abseentism, LGBTQIA+ topics, how hard it can get to emotionally connect to South Asian parents, and the ways grief can change you as a person.

A bland, mindless film with bad acting, and poor cinematography. Rishi Kapoor, is at times, ridiculous with his huffing-puffing and poor attempts at humour, and no graviatas expected of a 'SP'. Emraan Hashmi plays, as usual, a sulking, angry young man, embroiled in a steamy affair with an younger woman. Sobhita is so beautiful, but unfortunately does little else for the film. Watch if you have nothing else to do on a boring afternoon.
