I just finished watching episode 8 and I am severely disappointed in a series that I had hoped would be good. The cinematography is good and I knew it would stray from the books some but the story line is a twisted mess right now and so far from the books that I don't think it can be salvaged. The depiction of the ways is terrible. Matt never abandoned the restaurant all of them went to the eye of the world. The depiction of the eye of the world is no way near as described in the books. At this point amazon should cut their losses and discontinue production of a terribly written series.
