Wonderful movie that I saw as a kid. Coincidentally, there is a scene where the "Indians" are being removed and murdered by the nice white settlers . . . "go back to where you came from" (paraphrase) said one of the settlers to a native American he was throwing in the back of a wagon, as if manifest destiny gave him and others of his ilk the right to deny the prior existence of America's aboriginals on the land. Shown on TBS, the same day the our fine President said pretty much the same thing to the progressive women of color on the "Squad."
