Thought this was a really good movie which dared to be different. I guess it got slated for not following the standard format of a complicated alien invasion with a hero that saves the day. OK there are a few technical flaws but just watch it for what it is. A straight forward natural disaster for an average guy on the street view. No one knows what's going off and you are not much further by the end of the film apart from putting 2 and 2 together. Nice change.

Just occasionally, a film comes along that sets itself apart from the norm. We often overlook films like these and just happen to have the remote in your hand as you flick through something to watch. Just happened to flick this on and after the first minute, you are drawn into the atmosphere of this amazingly beautiful and different genre. The acting is sublime, the story meanders along and you really don't know where it's going to go or end and the middle bit just hits you full in the face... Boom. Please do yourself a favour, crack open a bottle of red, switch off the phone and just immerse yourself in a outstandingly constructed storyline enhanced by top notch acting. Fantastic
