I'd give it 3.5 stars. It's a really fun show with great musical numbers and having the star power of Meryl Streep and Nicole Kidman in such campy roles was lots of fun but the show is too long, a little too pedantic and Emma, the main character, smiled too much which was weird and sometimes annoying. Overall though, the songs were so much fun and the message so meaningful, I hope it can make a difference in people's attitude towards acceptance of gay people.
