It gave me a nostalgic feeling which is what pains me to give it such a low rating but outside of great casting and bringing back originals, I cant stand behind the poor storyline and ruining character builds this movie did. I feel like it just didnt make sense how they ended up where they are now as characters. Its hard to believe the queen was just walking around doing nothing when she was a wild spirit and talking about Nietzche and then seeing Akeem turn into some weird timid character and using the tired and poorly written scapegoat of him "forgetting" who he was. The character development doesnt make sense from the 1st movie. Bottom line is people should watch it for the nostalgic sense to see this timeline play out for these characters but i just wish it was a better one.
