You shouldn’t think too hard about the plot... it is weird. It’s pretty strange that Susan is not weirded out about having been with a 13 year old, and says that she will wait for him... (at some point she mentions that maybe it will be right in 10 years). Other than that, it was a pretty funny and warm movie. I love Tom Hanks’ movies!
