Naif

Alright, decided to give this show 3 stars; while it's not it's bad by any means, but holy moly it's overrated. I started watching it because it was rated high and people were saying this is the best show ever, but it doesn't come close at all. Pros: 1. All technical aspects were well-done (acting performance, dialogue, filming etc.) 2. Walter himself The pros stop there and everything else is either mediocre or straight up bad. The cons: 1. Jesse gets absolutely no character development. He's based off a stereotypical drug junkie and you would think that after all he's been through that he would actually change, but no he still behaves the same way as he did since the start of the show. It's ridiculous. 2. The story formula is repetitive. Basically goes like this: Walter and Jesse have to expand their operation, so they need a supplier who they end up having problems with. Recycle this formula for 4 seasons. This isn't good storytelling. 3. The story is slow paced. You really have to wait for a long time for something big to actually happen, and lots of scenes were unnecessary. Those were my major complaints about the show. Overall this is overrated show and nowhere near as good as it's hyped up to be.
