This may be one of the most disjointed screenplays I've seen since 13 reasons why. This is not horror, but Jerry Springer drama with less lighting. This series was advertised as sickeningly scary which was cheap marketing for simple views. Dark flash faces every 20 minutes does not constitute horror. Minute by minute I kept asking myself, what is the point of a 20 minute scene of sibling bickering and self pitty sob stories that have no bearing to the plot? Yes, the visual effects are good; the splicing of present to past was well done. But visual effects don't make up for poor screenplay execution. "So scary I almost vomited" is what one critic wrote, I say, so boring and mind numbing I did vomit..
