I don’t understand... how do you review a film you haven’t watched to the end? BIG SPOILER ALERT. Seriously, don’t read further if you want to watch the film. Tully was her maiden name ! That was her at 26. She was having a mental episode/depression and her younger self saved her and showed her what was bright and beautiful about the life she was “drowning” in. It was in no way a shot at motherhood on the contrary it displays the overwhelming work put in by a mother that has love and support. Tully reminded Marlo of all she overcame and accomplished and that it was worth fighting through the darkness to get to the other side. Tully reminded Marlo she saw still sexy and in love with her husband and that regardless of how overwhelming it got she was still herself AND a mom AND a wife.
