Today is not women's day but I don't know why I am feeling so! Although this is a biopic based on Jaya ,the late chief minister of TN but movie actually delivers more than that. Dreams cannot be a mere castle in the air if you have stellar wills to conquer the social prejudices that are often attached to women since day of birth. It is sensibly crafted movie which would not disappoint you. Director ,crew and cast have done a fantastic job. No surprise that Jaya (played by Kangana) is hero of the movie! It is worth every penny!

Trailer is tantalizing . Advertisement is being done cunningly to convince viewers that it is based on True events. Subject of story immediately connects to people of my generation(Air India flight hijacked and hostages taken to Kandhar during NDA government) and film has also managed to successfully weave plot for an enthralling end. But that is it. Few scenes touching late prime minister Indra Gandhi are only worth appreciation but rest of part is usual Bollywood in it's true sense. It is 2nd half that will leave you scratching your head. Plot becomes surreal post a high jacked plane is taken to Dubai. Am I watching Saktiman and villains? ISI chief stationed at Dubai Airport, tracking RAW through binoculars, storm creating shield for Specail 26 hero Akshay Kumar to orchestrate stunts on runway, ministers being shown as bunch of jokers(may be this is what is inspired by true events) etc are hard to digest. Did I waste my time? Yes!
