I honestly find this newer version to be more powerful than the 1984 original hence why I think the 66% Rottentomatoes rating is not true to this film at all. If you compare this with Cobra Kai with its melodramatic and exaggerated plotline, this is surely better yet Cobra Kai gets a 100% rating. :/
