Priceless. To witness the fledgling years of CBC television brought back wonderful memories. The fact that Sammy Davis Jr. was given his start here and that an entire hour show was devoted to black American Blues singers when they were still facing the discrimination of Jim Crowe laws in the States was inspiring. When Dylan walked off the Ed Sullivan show because they banned him from singing protest songs, he came to Canada as did Joan Baez. Also of interest, the evolution of Reggae music in Toronto and the emergence of Canadian women artists. I haven't seen all the episodes yet, but would highly recommend this walk down memory lane.
