"Higher the expectations, the greater you regret and fall" That's how Mortal Kombat 2021 exactly is. Been a fan of franchise since the game in 90s and growing up to cult following of all the characters, this movie is a big big let down. The only part good was the 7 minutes trailer and even in movie the start 7-8 minutes is good and after that it's a free fall. Poor script, poor cgi, poor set, and very lame character development and acting. Mcu has set benchmark of 10 of all movies and this doesn't even comes close to 2 or 3 from the view. A great opportunity missed.the director must have been F****ed high and said let's do all gore and blood.there is so much more to MK than just blood.
