This movie was actually pretty good! Laura Marano did a fabulous job playing the ever-charming Izzy. My biggest critique that messed with me the entire film was the accent. It wasn’t very convincing and slipped a lot. The plot was very good, the characters were very well-rounded! I thoroughly enjoyed the portrayal of the south, even if it was a bit different than what you normally see. The different and diverse characters, backstories, personalities, etc. was very refreshing. Izzy is such a kind hearted person and it’s nice to see how she changes people and their outlook, especially Thomas’s. All in all, I believe that if the accents were better and if things between Izzy and the prince weren’t so rushed, it would be absolutely perfect.
